Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex is the first and only mixed World Heritage Site in Southeast Asia, recognized by UNESCO in 2014. Located south of Ninh Binh city, the complex spans over 12,000 hectares, encompassing Trang An ecological zone, Tam Coc – Bich Dong area, and Hoa Lu special-use forest.
Visitors board small rowboats that glide through 48 caves cutting through limestone mountains, each with its own unique beauty. The towering karst formations reflected in emerald-green waters create a spectacular natural panorama.
Tràng An được ví như một bức tranh thủy mặc khổng lồ, nơi núi non hùng vĩ soi bóng xuống làn nước xanh ngọc bích quanh năm phẳng lặng.
Trang An also holds immense historical value — it was once the first capital of Vietnam under the Dinh and pre-Le dynasties. The best time to visit is from January to May, when the weather is cool and the scenery at its finest.
